I'd hold onto them, too. If they're clear at 10-14 days, then I toss them.
The red lines could be veins (good), might be a bloodring (bad), but you never really know for sure... mark them with a "?" and leave them in.
that's exactly what i did for mine that were questionable (either the whole shell too dark to see into at 7 days, or a red line...I wasn't sure enough to pitch em so I put a big ole "?" on em lol!
ANND I also wanted to show the Pen LED light I use to candle my tiny quail eggs:
I got it at an auto parts store (cuz we had to stop somewhere for em on the way home from grocery shopping it totally slipped my mind to get a pen light there..lol and im not even sure if walmart sells pen lights lol)!
