A big hen might weigh 10 pounds, so two scoops once or twice a day.

Sounds good! Does the power go into the food or water? What about the rest of my flock? She's the one that has it the worst so should I still stick with the copper sulphate?

Oh dear and I forgot to mention that she is on day 4-5 on copper sulphate... should I stop that?

Oh, and the doses would be given orally, not in water which means you would have to dissolve the powder then syringe it to her.

I think what I'm trying to say is should I give her a bit more? I'm not sure how much metronidazol is in fishzole... I'm not even sure what I was thinking.

One fishzole pill = 250 mg metronidazole
One scoop of your stuff = 100 mg metronidazole

2.5 scoops of your stuff = one fishzole

Some people give all standard sized birds the same dose, and this is fine if the birds are in the 5-10 pound range, but I'm funny that way, so I give it based on the weight of the bird, and the dose I use is 23 mg per pound. For example, if I were going to treat my 1/2 pound OEGB hen I would not want to give her as much as a 5-10 pound hen, right?

Ok so just so I have this clear before I start:

Can I give this to her two times a day along with the copper sulphate? (10 cups of water, 1 teaspoon ACV, and one eighth of a teaspoon of the copper sulphate which seems to be working!)

So 2.5 scoops of the power dissolved in water and syringed into her mouth 1-2 times a day.

How long can I give this to her?
