Can anyone please tell me how long you keep a hen with canker isolated from others

Canker is contagious even when the hen has been treated. If she was with the flock, then likely they are all exposed.

If she's not got any canker sores/lesions and they have healed up or gone for the time being, then putting her back with the flock might be o.k.

It may be a good idea to give the flock Acidified Copper Sulfate for 3 days out of each month to help reduce spread and outbreaks.

Thank you the copper sulfates I have looked up do not say acidified. Do you know a brand or are they the same? Thank you

For future reference for you and others looking at the threads, you must put in the words "Acidified Copper Sulfate" in order to find the correct product.

You should be able to get ACS at most hatcheries or bird supply stores online.
