Canned Chickpeas

Are they ok to feed to the chickens? A friend at works wife sent some cans into me for my chickens. I usually feed them leftover beans so i cant see what would be much different.

My hens got some chickpeas cooked with their scratch this evening. When they heard the name, they demanded those chickpeas. Just kidding

You should probably rinse the canned ones to lower the salt content.
