Dad has had Rattle snake as well. Same goes for my neighbor Tom up on the mountain. When he was brush hoging my property he came across two rattle snake females... both were full of eggs.
when I asked him what he did with them... He grinned "I have em marinating in Teriyaki"... didn't invite me over for dinner though.... LOL. I guess I will have to kill one of my own. I don't like to though because they are beneficial... but If they are standing their ground and rearing back to strike I strike first. Apparently its finger food because of all the little rib bones...
He skins his out and makes hat bands out of them. Of course tanning the hide first.
