Canning gurus!

I know I can reuse my jars and rims but what about the seal? If there are no dents/divits can I reuse them? If not, where can I buy just the seals?

It is best to not reuse the lids. Most of the time they will seal, but not always, even if they look OK. It's just not worth the risk.

I can get new lids at my local grocery store and at Walmart. Both have a canning section.

I would suggest new lids. After all that work and time it is best to have them seal. Someone mentioned that when you go shopping pick up a box or two and when canning season starts you will have plenty. I did that this year and I have a lot left over. Less painful on the wallet that way!
