Canola?

Am I able to feed the feathered kids canola sprouts or blooms? My hubby comes home covered in seeds (he works at a grain elevator) and they grow like crazy! I cant feed the seeds themselves as some are treated.

Are the canola seeds what is commonly called rapeseed??? We eat the oil from those called canola oil. and it is healthy . I'm not sure what the treatment on the seeds is that is of concern.
If only the untreated seeds produce sprouts, then you should have no concerns. If threated seeds also sprout, I have no IDEA what the treated substance is.
