Can't block members?

Thanks, please do. It's hardly urgent, not someone I feel animosity towards... But it would be nice to not have to see those posts.

A solution that would be great would be allowing the manual addition of users to your block list by visiting the block list and typing in the username but it seems no such option exists.

I've tried blocking random people to see if it's just that account and it's not. I can't block anyone.

I tried the same thing last week (may even be the same member) and it was not working. I'm glad to know it's not just me or my computer.

Instead of blocking someone you could try sending them a PM and offer to help them improve their posting etiquette?

Not my job, not my place, not worth the effort or risk of ticking someone off. I don't feel like given the circumstances it would do much anyhow. Besides, it's not like I have any particular reason to talk to this person. Other people seem to have no problem with them, so I figure since it's just me I could either block them and go on peacefully without being annoyed at all, or I could make them feel upset/unwelcome/incompetant/whatever by bringing it up. Why bother?

I've been trying to add people to my block list and I can't.

I cleared my whole browsing history and cache. I am running windows 10 and google chrome.

When I click on the block member button it comes up with the window but does not add the member to my blocked list.



Like so, this window just pops up for a split second then goes away without adding to my blocked list. This happens when I click on the drop down menu or when I click the button on a member profile.

Other functions using similar scripted pop-ups on the site such as uploading pictures are working fine.

This is happening to me also. Exactly as shown and described. Can't block a member even after trying, the "please wait" pops up for a split second then disappears, the person doesn't appear on my block list.
