Actually I do have signs--including several that say the premises is patrolled by guard dogs. That version includes pix of a Dobie and a GSD--both of which I do have. Everyone in the neighborhood knows this. They don't get out of their trucks when they stop for eggs. They just blow their horns because everybody is afraid of my dogs. As well they should be. However, the barn is 300+ yards from the house and the dogs sleep with me, so they did not hear the intruders. So, hopefully, the sensors will do the trick. In the 4 years I've lived here, nothing has ever gone missing. Not tools. Not lumber laying in the drive. Nothing. Until Thanksgiving morning. I cannot help but think this was done by outsiders. Nobody local would have risked my dogs.
