Can't Figure It Out, Anybody Help?

Get some styptic powder to get the bleeding to stop. Can pick up at pet store, feed store, or farm & fleet. I find any injury to the comb, the bleeding is hard to stop, even with Styptic powder and pressure. Put powder on, and hold it down (apply pressure). This might take several minutes (10-15 minutes) or multiple applications. You have to get bleeding stopped. Good luck.

Thanks to everyone for their input!!! Totally appreciated! Actually, the flour did the trick on stopping the bleeding. After I put the EMT ointment on his comb, he is acting fine. Can't tell if part of the comb is going to drop off or not but it doesn't look very pretty at all. Back 1/4 of comb is black and I don't think there is anything I can do about that part.

Again, thanks everyone!!!
