So this baby hatched out of a brown egg, and I have no clue what breed it may be. They're going on 4 weeks. I've attached a picture of the egg color, what it looked like after hatching and the chick now. It was a yellow baby with the chipmunk markings, which I know, doesn't narrow it down 😂😂. Maybe if anyone could make their best educated guess? Lol I appreciate any input 😊

So those feathers look like they are coming in with a light partridge pattern. I am not 100% sure, but I believe that is usually female feather pattern, unless males can have it at a young age (I just learned that on here recently so I haven't found all the ins and outs).

I see that pattern pretty frequently on an easter egger, but the comb looks like a single comb, EEs usually have a pea or similar. It reminds me the most of one of my greenlight egger chicks.

I hope someone picks this up that could get a little closer, I can't get an easy hook in it.

Well thank you! I appreciate the guesses. Gives me more to research and look in to. I was thinking maybe EE too, but yeah. This one is throwing me off lol
