Can't find search within thread or jump to top

I'm using an iPhone. Problems:

1. I can't find how to search within a thread
2. I can't jump to the top of a page when I've scrolled all the way down to the next page buttons

Searching in general is extremely inconvenient in general.

Under the SEARCH button you should have these options:

You should be able to click on "Search Threads and Posts"

Searching in general is extremely inconvenient in general.

I'm afraid there is no longer the option to search a thread whilst in it but there is still a search feature as Kiki has shown you above.

To jump to the top of the page you should see arrows on the side of your phone. You can use these to scroll up and down. (Circled in red below)

Check "search this thread only".

Sorry, I think I'm being extra blonde this morning or not enough coffee yet but I can't see search thread only.

Is it because I'm on iPad and the search is the little hamburger? This is what I get when I click on search ~

If you had a wider screen, a search drop down menu would open where you can select "search this thread only"
