i had the same problem. i went to a breeder
they shipped my chicks too. look online, you can find breeders there.

There are also alot of breeders you can do exchanges or buy eggs from in our community here on this website too! I met the breeder I got my Barnevelder eggs from on here and she's all the way in northern CA

We have bought 30 chicks from Meyer over the past year and half and haven't lost any of them.
