Can't get hen(s) to Brood?

Ok I wish I had all the other broody hens out there. I was wondering if there was a way to get a hen to go brooding. I had 3 hen's last summer that were great, (silkie, seabright, and auracana) yet now this spring they will not brood for the life of me. I had to throw away almost 3 doz eggs because no one would set on them. So now the 28 good eggs are pipping in the incubator.
Any suggestions???

There really is no way, that I know of to make a hen go broody. I think its just the luck of the draw....Good luck on your hatch!!
