I have a old hova incubator and am taking it a part to clean. I have everthing cleaned but the top. I have every thing off of the top but I can't get the red light off of the top. I squeezed the round white thing just under the the light but still can not get if off. Can Some one help me?

Sorry no one answered you, I have the same issue I guess some of us just are not part of the club. I didn't take mine apart to clean it, I was afraid I won't be able to get it back together again. I just wiped everything down really good with Clorox Clean, let it dry and started it back up. Good Luck

Im sure it will be just fine as long as most of the bottom hatching area is clean.I ran a Sportsman for 4 straight years and cleaned the hatch tray and the bottom out.The dust accumulated in the back near the fan and could only get some out by blowing with air compressor and vacuming out and never had any problem's.I only have 2 LG's right now and they are hard to clean too the stain's stay in the foam. But have had some good hatches since Xmas in them.

Thank you for answering me. Maybe it's a dum question. I had my husband put it back together for me before he went to sleep. Going to use some oxine I have for the inside top. I want to get this incubtor running a while before I put these eggs in. They were shipped with small end up so I had to let them set the right way for a while. I'm going to try my own eggs for the first time. This is my second hatch and I have two hens that have 8 eggs each. Good Luck
