Can't tell gender at all!

The white one is a definite cockerel.
Red on the wings is a cockerel trait.
Barnyard mix or not.
I also would vote male for the second one.

Now I see male specific feathers on that one. Which is confusing with the pullet face. Any chance they are younger than you thought? Might just be a late bloomer but the age would make more sense. I vote cockerel for the white one now.

Ok cool, I know when I got them the seller said they were around 12 weeks and that was about a month ago. Not sure if he was being truthful or what not. Here's a pic the day I got them, the one in question is standing in the back with full head in view

Any point onwards. Sometimes they start at 2 months. Yours could start anytime.
#2 has a severe lack of comb. But I would judge by pattern over comb any day, where that is possible.
