*Cant wait to set my eggs! Will they be ok?*

Ok so I recieved my eggs this afternoon!

I know I have to let them settle for 24 hours but they shipped on wednesday. Am I killing them not putting them in the incubator right away? I was planning to put them in tomorrow at 2 pm when I get home (24 hours from the time I placed them in the settling place)....What do you guys think??

I want to as well! Very tempted! I don't know where to put them to keep them cool... It's seventy degrees in my house and they are supposed to be stored at 50 (I think??).

I picked mine up around 10 so that should be 24 hours. And hello hatch buddy!!!

Chickens lay several eggs before they start to set... I had best hatch results with eggs that were 7 to 12 days old... I have even hatched an egg that was 33 days old also half froze eggs and eggs from the store... You all will be fine... Good Luck and Happy hatchin....

I received my eggs today...morning around 10:30, so I am putting them in tonight around 10, 10:30. They were shipped Tues. I've waited 24 hrs. I've waited only 12 hrs. I've had good hatches either way..so, I think I like the 12 hr. waiting time best.

just relax they will be fine i had to put some in when they were 10-11 days old and it was the ones that were 4 days old that havent developed. i am glad i kept them and didnt just toss them
