    Getting chicks next week from Meyer's hatchery. 16 total. 6 are for a coworker. The others are mine. A silver gray dorking pair, a blrw male, a meal maker and 6 of "Leann's adopt me" bunch. Can't wait to see my new little ones

    be careful with the millfures- I had one who got run over by all the big chicks. they are so tiny.

    i hadnt thought of that. You think i should have them in a seperate brooder?
    This is my first set chicks..

    maybe if they survived the mailing .... if the mailed them separate, then even they know to keep them separate.maybe you can keep them in the same brooder but with a separation screen till they get at least a week old
