Can't we all just get along?

Like the title says, can't we all just get along? More and more I am seeing threads on this website where some people have one opinion, some people have another and then name calling gets involved! There is no reason to be calling people who disagree with you trolls, stupid, horrible humans. Yes, those threads are out there. I have reported some of the meaner posts but seriously people, can't we all just get along? We are all on this planet together, we don't get another one. Let's at least be civil to those we disagree with, no name calling. Sheesh. I come to BYC to gain knowledge and try and win a few contests. When those contests end, I'm seriously thinking of canceling my membership. I don't want to, not really. But I refuse to be bullied by a site that is supposed to be run by adults. Thanks to anyone who read this

I'm really sorry this keeps happening just try too hit report on all the threads that this happens. I've experienced this myself a bit.

Tone can be hard to read on the internet though, so I try to keep that in mind, and give folks the benefit of the doubt that they aren't being intentionally mean...

I've been waiting for a thread on this topic to be created.
It's a subject that means a lot to some people, including me. If I've ever been horrible to anyone on this site then please send me a pm and I'll apologize.
Ive only been here for a few months and already I've had people call me 'a troll' numerous times, usually by the same old person. This is a forum which is designed specifically to gain knowledge on the topics of poultry keeping and also to have a bit of fun. Not to be MEAN to people!
