Can't we all just get along?

Many BYC Educators are older folks that have been in the poultry fancy for many many years. Most often, they are not in any way being rude, simply honest, and people may take offense to it because they don't sugarcoat or beat around the bush in their answers. Those folks are invaluable additions to this site, and without them, many would lack the invaluable knowledge we all gathered here to gain in the first place. I think it important to remember that people have different styles of communication, and just because it is not necessarily your style, does not mean they are being rude.

I understand that. But it's not what I am talking about. I get that people can be abrupt when communicating, I am one of them. I speak my mind, ask me my opinion and I will give it. What I am talking about is the "educators" that flat out call people trolls, stupid, and horrible humans. And it has not occurred on any threads that are asking for help

I’ve seen ppl (especially Kiki) call you a troll. I thought it was just a joke at first but I realized it isn’t. You’ve been a good friend to me on here so it offends me people call you that.

I've been trying not to reply as much to certain threads as you may have noticed.
If they don't want me, then I won't join in with them.
I love this forum though, it's taught me a heck of a lot of stuff.

Yea there are some who come out rude but their really not. A couple of them I’ve came to really enjoy and love being around them.

I'm on several forums for different subjects and see this all over, though to be honest I've never seen people being rude on here.

Then I am afraid I just haven't seen what you are referring to. If I do, I will certainly ask them to be kinder.


However, Spook makes a good point, if you are referring to the various threads he and I participate on, most often, those are all just us being silly and teasing one another, and are not meant to be taken seriously.
