Exactly. Some of the most valuable resources on this site might come off a little gruff or grumpy at times, but many of them are not only literal wells of knowledge, some are actually genuinely wonderful people as well.Thank you for your insight

I have trouble with some political correctness.
When I am in a conversation and when it is over try to figure out what their answer actually meant.
When you post a picture of your bird or post your opinion be prepared for some others that might have a different opinion.
As a youth I was told to kill what I had and start over.
Hurt my feelings yes but best advice I received.
We all have different reasons for having poultry.
I learned a long time ago naming them and considering them as pets although vastly different than the reason I doesn’t interfere with my enjoyment and I should respect their enjoyment.
When you step away from your expertise and want to exhibit or raise your pet for meat eggs or sale as profitable enterprise you better have some thicker skin. mho
