cantaloupe innards

Mine had some today! I freeze it and then give it to them during the hottest part of the day.

I scrape the innards onto the cutting board and then I cut the flesh from the peel and put the peel with the green part and all of the innards out for the girls. They love it. All I ever find is the rind.

Yeah, mine love the innards and the rind. The see me coming with cantalope or watermelon rind and they get real happy.

It's like chicky crack. You can use them for bribery as well.

Our hens play 'tug of war' with the cantaloupe innards! It usually breaks really quickly, but it's fun while it lasts!
They also make a fun 'slurpy' noise too! Well, if you can hear it over all the 'bok'-ing about the treat.
