Caponizing turkeys?

So we ended up with too many damn toms, who would have guessed! The problem is is that my mom doesn't want to cull them all. They're all under a year old, but just about full grown. And the boys are FIGHTING!!! also to no one's surprise.

Is caponizing adult turkeys a thing? Can it be done? Will it stop or lessen their aggression with eachother? Would it just be easier to put them in freezer camp?

I read in chickens they have to be a certain young age and the mortality rate is high until you get the hang of it.

I'm sure it is possible to caponize a turkey but it should be done while they young. The time has since passed for your birds so better to just do what clearly needs to be done and throw them in the freezer. Either that or start looking for someone else to take them.
