I am upset. They totaled my truck. Now I have to find something else within my price range.

You are not the at fault driver. The at fault driver's insurance MUST pay out the full cost of your truck. All of it. Every last penny. Make sure they do. That should help your budget some.

Also, I know, it's hard losing a truck - but given the pictures, that frame was warped and there is no way you want to ever drive that again. They just aren't safe then.

I am sorry about your truck, when I saw the photos I thought oh nooooo that is not going to be good!

My ex had his car hit and run, they totaled it as well, bent frame. Only he owed more than it was worth and he had to keep paying on that car for almost a year!

Gap insurance!

He still does not have a car, but is enjoying not having to make car payments or pay for insurance
