I am using this line with some chickens I am bringing home tomorrow that have to be quaratined in the house.....husband asks, how long are you planning on keeping them in the house?
Well, they have to stay inside for at least a month, and that would put us in the coldest part of winter and I couldn't put them out in the barn like that after being so warm inside so maybe they will just have to stay inside for awhile....ummmmmm, like 'til spring comes

You could use the same line for Lucky's cause to stay in the house too!!

I was just looking on Ebay at the hatching eggs and saw a picture of a white laced red Cornish rooster that looks like Lucky. I went to Feathersite.com to check out the Cornish breed and the "hatchery" quality Cornish roosters look just like Lucky. They have thick, rough looking legs too!

Keep up the good work. This is such a heart warming story

I just saw this post today. I had to go right to the end and read backwards because I had to find out if Lucky made it through. Amazing! Good for you and Lucky. Nice to know there are decent people out there who take time and effort to really care for animals who need it. He really is lucky

I only wish I knew how to give this story some sort of media attention. Maybe someone reading this does know. Lucky was much more than lucky when you stopped to pick him up. He was truly blessed.
