Car vs Rooster!!! Can he be saved???

Are you SURE that's the same rooster you brought home on death's door!??! He looks fabulous and, from the little I can see, his skin on his foot/leg looks better! Gobble, gobble to you, too!!

I just wanted to share with you about a little bantam rooster named Mr. Joy who was quite famous on the original BYC years back. He also lost his toes but it was due to bumble foot. He got around fine!! Here's a link to some pictures on his website. In the one where he's wearing a sign (Eat More People), you can see his feet really clearly. http://www.mrjoy.net/photoalbum.html I think Lucky will be fine once his leg heals if Mr. Joy could walk around on those stubs of his!!

That was the first thing I thought when I saw the photo - his leg looks soooo much better. So glad Lucky continues to do well. And it's true, what the other posters are saying - he doesn't resemble at all the rooster you brought in from death's door. You've done such a remarkable job, and Lucky is one remarkable roo...
Happy Thanksgiving -

Something like this though not as bad happened to me.. I had a maran roo named Smokey and he got attacked by a mongoose, bit under the wing and scratched on the face. It wasn't as traumatic but he couldn't walk for a while and HATED his medicine. But he got better, though could never walk/fly as well ever again... Couldn't crow well either... It sounded kind of funny...
