Mavis followed. He was eager to find the guards again, and the quicker they got moving, the sooner he would. As they traveled, he couldn't help but wonder what might have happened to him if Karin hadn't showed up. "What were they planning on doing with me?" He asked.

Karin shrugged. "Its very likely they would've told you your friends died. Then once your depressed put you through training to make you a thief like them."

"But I know that they aren't." Mavis countered as they trudged through the bush. "I seen them retreat and find cover, I'm not blind... And I'd never be a thief!"

The floor boards on the old wagon creaked and groaned as the two men stepped in from the front, alerting Linden to their presence. He stole a quick glance behind him to make sure they weren't simply going to dispatch him while he wasn't looking, and felt a small bit of relief when their blades stopped before they touched his back. Unwilling to look weak or frightened in front of the bandits, he maintained a straight face as the tight rope which Merek tied pinched his skin. Despite the tight bonds, he was surprised that his hands were left in front of him. He wondered if that was on purpose, or by chance. He looked sideways at Algar when the bandit leaned in close and gave a slight nod of acceptance. The words were slightly encouraging to him in his position, maybe he would make it out alive after all.

Good. The caravan guard seemed as if he would cause no trouble, at least not for the moment. But what to do with the man? The newly self-appointed leader of the rag-tag crew would need to figure that out soon. Surely some of the bandits would demand his death to avenge Rorik. Someone was bound to demand it simply to challenge Algar's leadership.

The crew moved quickly, they all knew the terrain well and followed much the same path that Karin had led Mavis down just a short while ago. They'd return later to collect the bodies of their fallen brothers and leader...

Raven moved to another tree branch, following the bandits with her eyes and marking the trail they took in her mind. The dark haired elf looked back to the base of the tree where the female bandit had been, then checked on the position of the human caravan.

(Her name is now Lily)

Lily was still shaking. "Im going to get in trouble! Shes gonna make me go back!" The little girl thought. She had run away from some people who had kidnapped her and many other children like her. When they had fallen asleep she had managed to escape and was now here. She looked at the chains then back at the woman. "I-i-i....Just...Y-yes..." she said her voice small
Amber smiled gently and started walking to her camp "By the way, my name is Amber."

Brylla sat for a few moments with her eyes closed, trying to stop the spinning in her head and collect her wits. It lessened somewhat and she felt able to stand again. She rose slowly to her feet, using the tree for balance. Carefully, she began picking her way toward the bandit hideout until she heard a voice up ahead.

"...I'm not blind... And I'd never be a thief!"

Not recognizing the voice, she paused her stride, listening for further clues as to who was ahead.

(OOC: If anyone is interested, it'd be awesome to have another bandit character maybe challenge Algar for leadership, or at least try to make his life difficult. ;) )

Karin froze in place her eyes wide. "Rorik..Hes dead.." She whispered tears welling in her eyes.

Not paying attention, Mavis nearly walked right into her from behind when she stopped suddenly. "Rorik? Who's Rorik?" He questioned, wondering where this sudden realization had come from in the middle of the bush.

(I will! Another female!)

Tianea watched Algar as he bossed everyone around. "Who does he think he is?" She thought to her self. "Sure rorik is dead bt that doesnt mean Algar isin charge!" She hissed and her eyes changed from brown normal eyes to amber cat eyes then changed back.

"Rorik was like my father. I will find whoever killed him. And that person will be dead." Karins eyes flared as she started walking forward.
