That is when karin snapped. Her only friend in this world was now yelling at her. Telling her she was doing wrong. Telling her she couldnt. Threatening her. Everything karin had ever known was beiing pelted at her. All the threats. The lies. Everything! "You! You! You have no rightto tell me what to do! I dont care how old you i are. I am me! I cannot. No.. I willnot obey you! Rorik is dead tianea is unwell Rook Merek Algar? I hardly like them! Brylla try as you might. Say whatever you want but i refuse. Refuse to listen!" She shouted she didnt care who heard. She was not going to let these people control her.

"Karin, don't be..." Brylla started, about to try to reason with her friend when out of the corner of her eye, she saw the boy turn and make a mad dash away from them and into the forest. "Crap!" Brylla started in the direction of the fleeing child, fearful that he could lead the remaining caravan guards to their hideout. But with her head still spinning, she definitely wasn't moving as fast as she usually could.

"If your against me leaving then dont go after him!" Karin shouted grabbing Brylla's arm and yanking her back then running ahead herself gaining on mavis with each stride. Seeing him dispear she cursed and looked around looking for any sign of mavis.

(Frundette might wanna change 'crap' to crud so this doesnt get shut down...)

"Want me to leave it here for you?" Col replied, in a mocking baby voice. "So you don't have to be scared of the dark?"

He held the torch closer to the pit, illuminating a gaping hole about 5 feet across and almost 10 feet wide. There was a length of heavy rope coiled at the edge, one end tied securely to a heavy hook that had been affixed to the rock. "Looks cozy, huh?" Col said, glancing down. In reality, the pit was only about 10' deep, but the dancing torchlight did not illuminate the bottom, giving it the illusion of being bottomless.

Merek tossed the end of the rope over the edge to give Linden a way to lower himself down. "Easy way or hard way?" he asked, voice still as carefully emotionless as ever.

"If I was afraid of the dark, giving me a light wouldn't cure my fear, it would simply get rid of the dark so that there wasn't anything for me to be afraid of," he replied in a sarcastically intelligent voice to annoy Col on technicalities. "Unless of course I was afraid of spiders too, but that's a whole'nother ball game..." As he spoke he refrained from looking at the pit until Merek tossed the rope over the edge. At that point he finally accepted the fact that he probably couldn't weasel his way out of this one, and lowering himself down was probably easier than being pushed. The pit looked deep. He grabbed the end of the rope from Merek and stepped deeper into the tunnel.

Mavis dove for the ground to seek cover as he heard the girls gaining on him. He knew he didn't have a lot of time before they spotted him, and then he wouldn't have a chance to hide. The thick foliage provided some cover, and he was suddenly glad that his clothes were covered in mud as it helped him blend in. He crawled under a pine tree with dense branches which draped from the bottom of the trunk to the ground, creating a small circular clearing in the middle. As Karin got closer he hunched close to the trunk and slowed his breathing to become as silent as possible.

Karin ignored the rock. She would go after it later.

Karin turned to a large pine tree. Looked it up and down then looked away.

Tianea slipped out of her room and looked around. After making sure no one was there she left the base and went into the forest. Once where she was certain no one would see her she shfted. Her spine grew longer to make a tail. her hands and feet changed into those of a tigers. Her eyes changed into amber cat her skull grew bigger and a bit flatter by her eyes her mouth and nose became a snout. The white clothes she was wearing stretched to cover her body the became white fur striped with black. Smiling to herself tianea went off to the forest to find Karin and Brylla. Both who didnt return with the rest of the gang.

Through the branches Mavis could just barely make out the shape of Karin as she studied the tree. He slowed his breathing as much as he possibly could and crouched down to make himself as small as possible. Please go away! Please go away! He prayed silently.

(Her name is now Lily)

Lily was still shaking. "Im going to get in trouble! Shes gonna make me go back!" The little girl thought. She had run away from some people who had kidnapped her and many other children like her. When they had fallen asleep she had managed to escape and was now here. She looked at the chains then back at the woman. "I-i-i....Just...Y-yes..." she said her voice small
Amber smiled gently and started walking to her camp "By the way, my name is Amber."

Col looked momentarily confused by the caravan guard's words, but then smirked again when he understood. "Just remember I offered when you're down there wondering what you're cozyin' up to."

"Alright, alright," Merek interrupted, trying to hurry the process along. "We got things that need doin'. Get movin'. Prolly easier if you turn around and face us, then shimmie down that way," he directed, knowing that the task wouldn't be easy with bound hands. But with Linden's bulk, Merek wasn't about to untie the bonds.

Her injuries from the battle with the guards made it easy for Karin to rush ahead of Brylla. "Stupid girl..." she muttered under her breath. "Going to get us all killed. Or worse... strung up for a feast for crows." Something small crashed through the brush not far in front of her and her attention was drawn to the area. Was it the boy hiding there? Slowly she approached, eyes searching for what had made the noise, but she found nothing. Discouraged, she turned back toward base camp, intending to alert the others. Maybe she could just tell the boy had escaped and that Karin was looking for him. At least that way, if the younger girl came to her senses, she would not have lost her place among the thieves.
