Raven nodded "One of the bandits." She watched their reactions noting that the lembas was doing as it was made to, giving them all the extra energy as if they had had a nap and a meal.

"Tie his sorry behind to this one," Terrick used his good leg to reach out and push Algar's body with his foot. "Then leave 'em for the crows," he suggested, feeling not the slightest bit of compassion for the prisoner. By law, he should escort the bandit to the bailiff in the next town and let them deal with him, but as he thought of Pike, immediate retribution for his friend's death sounded more fitting.

Raven looked tot he body and frowned. She glanced over to Bree. "Can you help me move him?" She asked, wanting the body out of her house.

Bree stood up, " Can get it." she said quietly, taking the bodys hands and lifting them over her shoulders, dragging it out of the house, down to the lake, where she let the current take it away.

Linden was also silent as they debated what to do with Merek. He knew the law as well as Terrick did, but he also felt compelled by Pike's death to dish out a similar fate to the bandit who had partially been responsible for the entire ordeal. Unlike the rest, him and Mavis had become quite acquainted with the shady man during their brief stay in the caves... but now that his strength and state of mind were beginning to return he thought that perhaps the bandit did deserve a fair trial. He had nothing left... had he not lost enough?

He finished the lembas bread and looked at the group. "My initial reaction is to kill him as well, but would that not make us as savage as them? I think--- I mean, what separates us from them is a code of law, is it not?"

Raven watched the men silently for a moment then spoke "He want to die by blade if that is to be his fate."

In his heart, Terrick knew Linden was right, but he scowled. He watched Bree drag Algar's body out of the house, silent for a few moments. At Raven's comment, Terrick turned his gaze upon her. "Course he would. We drag him to the bailiff and he'll be strung up in the middle of he town square. No man wants that." He sighed. "What do you think?"

"It is your law he must go by." Raven said shaking her head a little. "But I would use a blade. It is...he is a warrior." She had raised a hand then let it drop, unable to recall the word she wanted in the humans language.
