Caring For Duck Pool

Any suggestions on keeping the water sanitized in the kiddie blue pools. Can a tiny amount of bleach be added to the water? First time duck owner and we don’t have a pond.
So far I’m pouring it out and washing it down every few days.

ducks are messy lol i clean and refill 3 duck pools every single day (i have 4 ducks)

I think a tiny amount of bleach is ok. I drain and scrub mine every other day - only because we are in a drought; normally, it's every day. I have 5 ducks.

I have a 50 gal stock tank and I add a capful of bleach every evening when I top it off. This gets me to 3 days before I drain and start again

And you have a few duckies, don't you, Lydia? I might start adding bleach, too. I figure if we put it in our stores water, a little can't hurt duckies, either.

Thank you. My grandchildren love these duckies. Yellow is Quackers and Grayish one is Boo. They named them and have claimed them.

Of course it’s not sparkling clean but with drought and low rain fall we just have to do what we can
