ducks are messy lol i clean and refill 3 duck pools every single day (i have 4 ducks)

I have 27 ducks . I have 3 pools and just built a pond. I clean the 3 pools every or every other day depending on what they have done in them. I have small buckets about. Gallon size , 10 of them set allover their Rea for clean water. I put out fresh water before work smd change those buckets when I get home.their pond I jut built. They've it. Its already dirty and I'm trying new filter today to see if it helps. Along with barley straw and pond shock. I have not seen any results yet but when I do will let you know. Most people have large filtration systems that I'm not willing to spend the money on as of now. So my small water areas and in ground pond will have to do. I have a filter now to keep the water moving so it's not stagnant and keep mosquitos away. Waiting to see on the forums if someone has better ideas.

That's what I've read. Just a small amount, though. I haven't started doing that yet, but I probably will. Lydia uses a capful in her kiddie pools.

Im.using a filter with a medium and coarse filter and pump. I ordered a larger one to help. I'm not looking for crystal clear but sanitized so even if it has dirt or sand they'll still swim and I am happy knowing I am doing what I can to keep it clean. I scoop it daily with a net top to bottom to get out everything I can...

Pump pulls water thru filtering tubs from bottom of pond then returns water to pond..
