I think there was a lot of lies and the cops failed also since the body was found by a meter person and the cops did not find it for another 6 months. If they had found the body the first time the call was made then they might have had the evidence to convict someone for the little girls death. I don't believe that Caylee drowned and they covered it up a simple call to 911 and she might have been charged with a not watching a child but i doubt there would have been any charges and this whole 3 year nightmare would not have happened. Casey's mother lied for her daughter why, I think Casey killed caylee because she wanted to party and have her life and did not want her mom and dad to have caylee either. I am sick that there is no justice for Caylee. I just know who ever killed her will face true judgment one day and they have to live with what they did. This whole case makes me sick.

Yes, I KNOW this is not the Scott P. case. My point was just that there can be convictions based on compelling circumstantial evidence and there seemed to certainly be an awful lot of that in the Casey Anthony case.

I didn't see a single 'compelling' piece of evidence that the mother murdered that child.

Not one single one.

What put her at the scene where the body was dumped near the time the child disappeared? Nothing.

What established that location was where the child's body was originally dumped? Nothing.

What put her in custody of that child on the day the child disappeared? Nothing.

What established the day the child disappeared, or the time? Nothing.

What established the day and time of death? Nothing.

What in the remains connected the defendant to the death of the child? Nothing.

What established without a doubt that no one else but the defendant murdered the child? Nothing.

Nuts and bolts people, there was not one single one.

Todays juries want more evidence. CSI style. They're not willing to take a witnesses word. They want the person found with a smoking gun in their hand. I don't think they trust the cops or anyone else anymore and with good reason IMO. Read the post about the teacher accused of stealing drugs. All based on hearsay.

Did she do it. Perhaps, but I'd need more than some of the stuff the prosecutor submitted.

Lord have mercy there are some parents who treat their children terrible but that doesn't mean they'd kill them. Just read what some of the kids here post. Mom doesn't care if my chickens got killed, Dad buys my brother everything and I get nothing. ...... etc. etc.

The media can't sell papers if it doesn't add a little drama. I had a friend shot and killed by a crazy guy and the media tried to insinuate that my friend was somehow to blame. I'm not a young man mind you and neither was my friend. The neighbors were not surprised either that this guy did it. It's a long story. The guy killed himself after he killed my friend so there was no trial.

She left with Caylee that afternoon .. showed up at Tony's that evening without her .. nobody saw Caylee alive again after that ... she partied and lied and made up wild stories about a child she didn't do anything too ..

Yup, I believe that....

We haven't seen the last of Casey .. just like OJ .. she'll show her true self again ..

I just hope another child doesn't have to die .........

well here in my office in FLA no one has gotten any work done since 2:15...is hard to work when your JAW drops as far as ours did...WOW!!!!! REALLY!? Now with only 4 misteminors charges, not even prison time.....time served and that is it! Wait for the TV apperences and the movie coming up....so not only she got off, but she will make a profit!!!! UGH!
