She is a single young white pretty woman and any defense lawyer will tell you they are the most "attractive client" to present to a jury.

Chickened and Welsummer, thanks for all of your posts of reason on this thread. I have enjoyed reading your intelligent observations of the situation.
Some thoughts that come to mind about all of this, the case, facebook response and this thread also...

* The prosecution failed this case, NOT the jury. They were making a decision based on the information given to them. I have served on two criminal jury's and it is not easy by any definition.

* Nancy Grace is an idiot. People should not be listening to her, she is fear monger and spits nothing but hateful vitriol in the pursuit of ratings.

* It is not a crime to be a scumbag. If that was the case half of our nation would be in jail.

* I think it is sad to have so many spouting about prison justice or the inmates or prison guards will "take" care of her....that is beastial and uncivilized.

* I read an article about a young boy who was locked in a cage by his parents until he was 13 and he died. He was only given a paper and pencil and he wrote of how horrible he felt all thru his ordeal. Where is the public outrage for this? or any of the other children abused or killed each year?

* I wonder how many people out there who are critiquing the system and the jurors are the same people who act like an ass or say stupid crap when they get called for jury duty so they can go home because they are too busy to serve the justice system?

* I am not trying to defend this woman in any way, its evident she is a horrible person. BUT there was not the proven evidence backed up by proper policework and conveyed by the prosecution to convict her.

* I am amazed by the amount of people who dont understand our justice system and how our courts work. Our system is not based on the bible and eye for an eye. It is based on Law and the rule of law. IF our country was governed by the justice most are expressing our nation would be anarchy.


Sorry if this offends anyone. Just venting on what I have read and listened to today. I am more frustrated by the reaction of the people of this nation than by this verdict.

I agree the evidence was not there, but I still think the mom had something to do with her disappearance. The sad thing is this little girl will never get justice.
There are some real crazies out there.
