You are absolutely right, there are many species that is illegal to own, or if we do own them we have to have all kinds of USDA permits, and allow them to come randomly inspect our holdings when ever they like. Mean while, Zoos aren't successful in breeding them, and they are dying out in the wild.The bird I saw in Thailand was alone. I have pictures and video, if you're interested. All these laws and regulations that prevent people from raising animals in hopes of protecting them is actually killing them. It makes me sick.
