Oh my!! They are beautiful!! So far my little Cat has 3 full blooded siblings and all 3 are Frizzled and she's the only Smooth from Thaddeus and Chantilly lol
your little black and white pullet is BEAUTIFUL!

Literally not a day goes by that I don't miss Thadd. I tell his little boy Abraxas about his Daddy every day. The first guy looks just like Abraxas! And the second...love the colors. Thank you for sharing them.

I know how you feel, I loss my favorite cochin cockerel this weekend and I am heartbroke. It hurts so much, I will miss him everyday, he was one of a kind. The Thadd babies are beautiful, one boy and one girl. All the fizzle and silkied frizzles have just been beautiful.

Here are the newest members of the family, hatched yesterday. They are from my eggs (Boots and Buttercup) and CDS grandbabies (Zephyr and Napoleon grandbabies!). I was 2 for 2 with eggs that made it into lockdown. Very happy with that. Just set 7 eggs from Laura this morning and 3 more of my own. Buttercup seems to have gone on strike, so my eggs are on the old side--I'm not too hopeful about their hatchability!

These little guys remind me of the Button Quail babies I used to hatch out!! Awww

Two newest CDS babies - silkieds - finally!!!!

They are only 3 weeks old (give or take) so not completely sure on the sex yet, but I'm just thrilled to have silkieds again...and an outlet for more silkieds as her hen throws them. She will taking Rory

and any other frizzles I hatch this Spring since she loves frizzles and he isn't really bonding with Victoria.

I will hopefully be picking them up on Tuesday!

My babies are here

Two girls...older than I thought, but that's ok. Still waiting on the exact hatch date but I'm guessing 6 weeks +. They are fully feathered but so tiny. Definitely Class A's. Since I am not willing to take on another rooster, they will be going in with Gino and Giovanna.
