personaly i think the gun laws are too strict here for example our olympic shooting team has to travel abroad to practice!! but i cant see the situation you have of owning firearms in the states working in the uk. its a completely different culture here and i think the majority of people would be very nervous almost to the point of panic if joe public could carry a gun, but a little relaxation of the laws so they made more sense would be good.
afterall gun laws only stop the law abiding from carrying a gun

I have a lot of cats in my area, and my high strung pullets aren't very aware of that unfortunately.. So when I am out there I usually find myself chasing away a HUGE black cat from the coop once the girls are inside, and just the other day I chased a big orange tabby away from them... Darn gigantic cats.
