I found out the other day that my landlord killed all of his sons goats and piled them in an old barn and set fire to it. This was just down the road from me. His son had passed away about a year before that and I guess he just didnt want to bother with them.
It's useless to turn him in, he is related to the judge.
As far as my injured hen she is still doing great and healing very nicely. Scabs are starting to form. Still no infection. I put neosporin on it once a day so it has time to dry up a bit before I get it wet with the antibiotic cream. I never had to give her any other kind of antibiotics. I heard animal bites especially cats and dogs would get infected. Hers never did so maybe it want' thata cat after all. Maybe she got caught on something and did it herself.
