CAT ATTACK! Open wound on my chicks neck

I have a small flock of just 6 chicks, all 6 weeks old, it was their second time out in their new pen and a cat got in and killed two and left one severely injured, the others managed to stay safe. The injured one, benny, has a deep wound all the way down to the neck muscle, it’s not bleeding but it is a deep red, he is still eating and drinking and I’ve put electrolytes in their water to help with shock. I also cleaned the wound with a saline solution and put purple antiseptic spray on it but I’m really not sure what to do now. Any suggestions at all are really appreciated as I’m worried sick for my poor boy!! Attached is a picture of the wound *graphic* with the purple spray on it, it only happened an hour or so ago so it’s still very fresh.
Many thanks
Abby

I would just keep the wound clean and apply a thick swab of triple antibiotic ointment/ be very sure it is not the pain relief kind because that's poison to a chicken. So far it looks like your doing the right thing. They heal quicker than you would think as long as they are not stressed and stay eating and drinking.
I had a old hen that had her whole back tore open by a dog and she healed up just fine in about two weeks. I would have thought she would have died from the looks of her. So I'll say a prayer for your little one!
