Cat attack

Yesterday evening our chicken was attacked by a cat and we found her a couple hours later behind a neighbors shed. We cleaned her wound and put her in the house with food and water. She is not active at all. Barely hanging on it seems. Please share any tips to help her recover or if this is too bad of a wound to heal. We don’t want to lose her.

So sorry about her injury, it does look terrible. Are you positive it was a house cat? Whoever did it will be back for more birds!
This needs veterinary care, some wound repair, and meds.

Yes definitely cat, we caught it on the camera. Two neighbor cats worked together to take her across the street and we put a new lock on the coop door because they figured out how to open the door. Those cats strategized!

WOW! If you have it on camera, the cat owner should be liable for expenses. Proof is a good thing!
