Catchmaster fly jars are awesome!

I’ve used the Catchmaster brand fly bags for quite some time, I put them around the dog yard and the quail. This year I got some fly bags, but I decided to try their fly jars, which have the same catch mechanism and bait, but are reusable. I like that I can just set it on top of the Quail pens without needing to hang it up. After about 1.5 to 2 weeks, one jar is completely full, woo hoo. I looked up the refills, and they are half the price of the jar, so I’m thinking I’m gonna just try putting a dog turd and some water in there and see if it works as well haha. If it doesn’t, I can always hose out the jar and put a new refill in.

A DOG TURD!??

We have an annoying fly problem on our balcony since the adjacent neighbors use theirs as a temporary trash storage >_>;; Not great since I use mine as a garden and sun room. Thanks, neighbors

I might try one of these fly traps.
