My cat knocked over my incubator with lockdown of quail eggs. 3 had already hatched. A couple of them have lost pieces of shells but can see babies moving. Refilled the water and put babies back in... I swear she only does this with quail... never with babies chickens. Will the ones missing pieces of their shells be okay?

Yep, they should be fine so long as nothing was pierced (bleeding) and so long as they've got enough intact shell to push against so that they can use the leverage to bust jail.

Yes it wasnt down for very long. I came running out when I heard the loud chirping. They have solid shells on most but with a couple of spots where the shell is gone.

X2 it’s hard to say. I had my cat cover up the air holes and half of the chicks suffocated. Since then I lock up the cats or put the incubator in another room where they can’t get to.

Yea about to put it in a room she cant get into. Like I said I've hatched chicks and duckling just fine. The very first quail hatching last year I did was the first and last time she did that. (Past 3 hatchlings were out where she could get to them if wanted )

I will take pics tomorrow. They are still wet and have at least 5 more that are trying to break through. Will also be trying to play guess the color on most of then lol
