Aww thanks! Yes it is! It would be interesting to read up more on cat genetics. Hmmm......maybe I'll do that for science, I do have The Reader's Digest Illustrated Book of Cats. It says "Is filled with information about cat's history, anatomy, breeds, genetics, and physiology."

I really like genetics! That book sounds awesome!

Meet B'elanna (black) and Geordi (grey)... (think trekies)
These are siblings that we got @ 10 weeks. They are almost 3 years old now.
Bea is 9lbs and Geordi is 16! (think fat cat)

Of course, in rural W. WA, we do have critters. Bea, our little huntress, usually catches them...

...and Geordi follows up by playing with them, taking them "out" and making a meal. (I always make him take his meals outside) How do you think he got to 16lbs?

Of course, many do make it into the house, via the doggie door, some even alive! Including mice, shrews, birds and garter snakes.

I will add that Bea has the taste for bird already. She has caught many smaller birds and even brought home a headless quail, from a neighbors pen 2 houses away. )o:

A bit worried about our new homestead additions, but hope that some hen or rooster will tell her what it's all about... (Yea, like I'm gonna tell a cat that she can't... and she'll listen!)
