We're expecting kittens any day now! The vet says we have four due, and all seemed well at the last checkup. I can't wait! Mama kitty Peregrine is so sweet, we're hoping that her disposition carries on to her babies.

Best of luck! Don't forget to post lots of baby pictures!! : )

All of these cats are SO CUTE! I have 2 one is Kit Kat (tuxedo white diamond on back, girl) the other is Dot (black with white dot, boy) I would show you but I don't have pictures!

my cat Spaz and my pup Kayley

I love to see cats and dogs that get along.  : )
Kayley gets along with cats rabbits and hamsters. Just not other dogs. My cat doesn't like dogs but has grown to like Kayley. Spaz also does not like other cats unless they start out as kittens. She has never had babies of her own but will take on stray or foster kittens. And she loves to play with the rabbits. She sleeps with the baby rabbits I have lol

Animals are so cool how they can learn to recognize one another as individuals and not just species. For example, our dogs (we have 7 right now) will not chase our indoor or porch cat but will try to chase the barn cats and most certainly will chase stray cats. It all depends on how much they know them.

This was Tila my precious baby girl that disappeared only a month after I gave birth to my own literally baby girl. She used to sit on my belly when I was pregnant and attack the other cats if they came near it. She used to go out onto our roof at night from our porch. I am pretty sure she got taken by an owl and I am still heart broken that she is no longer with us. I looked for her for months and still look around if I am near where my old house was. She was 7 years old and I had her from the time she opened her eyes.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm glad she had such a wonderful life with you. She was a very pretty girl.

Ghost my Turkish angora rescue.

And YoYo my Persian mutt

Awesome cats! I love Angoras. : )

I've got some awesome news! Nocturne, one of my foster kitties, is going to be officially adopted today!!!!!

She is a special needs girl, she has hydrocephalus, or spinal fluid on her brain, which makes her a little different then the others. But she is one of the sweetest things I know. She just now cuddled up next to me and is chilling while her sisters play near-by.

Here she is, 10 weeks old and adorable! She's even got some food on her noes.

I was there the moment she was born at the shelter, helping her because she was premature and weak. Two of her siblings passed away.

She was so tiny, always prone to wandering. Even at just a couple days of age we had to put a belt through the cage door so she couldn't crawl through it and get lost.

At a week of age she was the size of a day old, as were her siblings, and she came to our home to be fostered. Lyla, her mother, Twilight and Oziana, her sister's, and little Nox herself.

She grew. She was the darkest of the kittens, with a lighter back-half and darker front-half. She needed to be stimulated to use the bathroom because her mother was having trouble doing that herself.

She started to crawl around.

They slept most of the time, but Nocturne was always either hiding in the back or crawling out to the door of the walk-in-closet where she would have to be picked up and put back in her nest.

Here she is, staring a corner with her sisters.

Her head started to get very round and large and her eyes bulged.

But she was learning how to eat. She was moved up into my room at about 4 weeks of age.

Her mother was always sweet and nurturing, giving them plenty of milk and love.

But she would cry (okay, scream really, really loud) for attention at the door for cuddles even at a young age, toddling her way to the door and crying to be held.

She loved tummy tickles.

But still played with her sisters too.

Always sweet, very limp when picked up as if her mother were holding her. Easily startled at first, but now just very cuddly.

She is 11 weeks old, vaccinated, and ready for her new life. : )
