Caught my egg thief on my game cam

I would put a trap where the fox was going in. I put my trap at a hole in the fence,and caught dozens of animals coming through.

Yep, that's a big, fat, foxy, problem. He looks really healthy too. I sure wouldn't want to be a chook in the coup with him right outside the coup like that.

I have skinned hundreds of them. They used to be worth something but those days are gone.

I would do whatever you need to in order to prevent the fox from getting to your birds. If you shoot this one there will always be more. Lock everything up at night to prevent future problems. I personally don't shoot fox. Its my job to keep these tasty chickens safe. We eat them, you can't blame a fox for taking an easy meal. Including eggs.

Set a trap so when you catch him, you won't have a hard time aiming the gun. Stick it right in the cage and BAMMM!!!! Here's a bullet for you, and as they say "Tastes just like chicken"!!

we did try this with a dog..put massive amounts of pepper where he is gettin in and in the nest and on the egg. anothing super spicy would work. while it worked for one of my dogs it may or may not for the fox. they are extremly smart
