Caught

A lot of cities are turning a blind eye to chickens, due to economy and people need to produce more of their own food, unless there's a complaint- it's that way in Philadelphia for instance. So don't have any roosters, keep things clean so nothing smells, and you're usually good. Oh yeah, always have to be nice to neighbors and don't call police on them for stuff. I let the neighborhood kids in the yard to see them, let them collect eggs, etc. Then send home a nice garden ripe tomato or something with the eggs, and the parents love you!

I've been on the downlow for 2 years now -so far so good.

As far as getting laws changed, a woman tried to do that here, it got a lot of attention, didn't pass. So I'm just keeping quiet for now...

Sounds like you are OK then!

Focus on the wonderfulness of having chickens, instead of the "Oh no, what if I get caught?" IMHO, I believe what one focuses on is what expands. So enjoy your lovely girls!
