Cauliflower leafs as feed to chicks

I use mashed Cauliflower leafs mix with feed of my chicks. Any one tell me is it is harmful for them or good if I give them on daily basis.

If they're very young, I'd just stick with the feed. It is formulated as a nutritionally complete feed.

The leaves aren't bad for them, they'll just offset the protein and other nutrients in the feed.
If you do give it to them, they also need appropriately sized grit for the age of the bird. In fact, grit is a good idea even if they are only getting starter/grower feed as it helps develop the gizzard.

Thanks to reply, Please also tell with mashed Cauliflower leafs I mix one part crushed corn, one part crush wheat, some egg shells, left over of my kitchen like breed, tea etc.. It that fulfill their nutrition requirements. They also eat grass from my lawn.

So does that mean you aren't feeding a complete chicken feed?

If that's all they're getting, then no it won't satisfy the requirements at any age. If they're chicks, they shouldn't be getting the egg shells. For any age chicken; wheat, corn, bread, tea and cauliflower are all way too low in protein. For chicks, they may well be starving. Chicks need to start off with at least 18% protein but 20 is better depending on age.

Tell us how old the birds are.

Do you have access to chicken feed? Where are you located?

Eggs shells are given normally as a source of calcium. I would not give chicks calcium until they are ready to start laying.

So I would suggest skipping the egg shells at this stage in their life.

If you are giving the shells as grit, I don't think they work well for that as they will break down pretty quick plus they will provide excess calcium which is not good for the chicks.

I don't think we have enough information. What age birds? Are they even chickens or some other species? Pheasant? Quail?
What else are they getting besides the mix of grains?

The chicks are about age of 4 months. No doubt I have access of chicks feed and I am giving commercially available feed to my breeder pairs , but it is so expensive. I rise the chicks as hobby and it is difficult for me to bear more expenses on commercially available feed. Please give me a hint from what source I fulfill the requirements of their Protein .You can see the pictures of breeds which I have on "Rehmani Bird" at facebook.

Ive heard you can feed chickens garlic cloves and ut helps to prevent and fight against issues with the birds is there any truth to this and how do i feed it

yes the garlic cloves are good for birds, this helps to improve the resistance power against diseases in birds. You can give them mixed with their feed once in a month.
