Caveduck?

So what's up w/ this ducklings head/face? He's got the whole caveman eyebrows going, he's the only one, just trying to figure out what's up w/ that? Any ideas?

My brother said it's a merger between Geico and Aflack.

Would the crest affect the shape of the head? I've had crested ducks in the past, but never really examined them that closely. I always assumed it just affected the fluff on top of their heads, and not the shape of the head. But I really don't know.

Any other ideas?

we were just discussing this recently. crested ducks have a skeletal deformity. when it's right, you get the crest, when it goes wrong it can produce all kinds of odd things... i'm just learning all this duck stuff, so it's possible i don't have any of this right. hopefully someone else will pipe up. what you're seeing may not even be related to a crest at all.

Then I'm going to guess that's what's going on here, I had no idea! It's been a long time since I've had any crested ducks. I wonder what he'll look like once he's grown! Now I'll have to go do some research on crested ducks.
