been doing a bit of reading what does cayenne pepper do for egg laying
 
depends on who you ask...

lots of ol' timers will tell you it speeds up molt and helps them lay in the winter and is a great wormer and such

others will tell you nothing...so keep researching and make your own decision...I don't use it
 
It does help late bloomers to start laying! My granny used it all my life. She would bake a pan of corn bread and add 1-3 tbl sp of cayenne. 3 days later EGGS! As for the rest I dont know. But I know this works to help kick start egg production.
