I would be a hypocrite If I told you I didn't feel the same way. I just know it's a touchy subject for some.Yes it is. I raise ducks and I eat ducks but I pay a fortune for the eating kind at the grocery cause I just can't. But I know the excess drakes must go somewhere and I would rather feed a human than coyote, so I try to be practical about it.

As far as the carcass is concerned, we sorta knew that when we chose a breed, but we think their eggs are beautiful and the old timers seem to think the meat is exceptional!Because their skin is dark grey, they don't make a very appealing carcass. so you might not find much about them. I would probably follow any dual purpose like Rouen.
