Cayuga Duckling Quacks

Anyone have video of a young cayuga male vs female quack? Mine are 5 weeks old now and very quiet overall, so I'm wondering if I got three fellas. Which would mean I'd have to start finding homes for two of them and a lady friend for the one i kept.

Mine are just over 5 weeks and I am starting to hear quacks (at least one! hoping more) but in the upcoming weeks I am trying to get it recorded for reference... Overall they are still pretty quiet.

I want to follow this if anyone does have that in video!

It doesn’t matter that they are cayugas, ducks quacks all sound the same, girls quack and boys Croke like a frog

Your drakes won’t develope their curly tail feather until they are 4/5 months old

Voice change would only start beginning on week 4 so your drakes might be a bit wheezy when they quack

I'm holding out on the curly tail feathers to know for sure with mine... The little quacks I hear are always when I am turned away! It's like they know I am curious and wait until I'm not watching.

By 8 weeks they should have a voice..Either Quack or Rasp..Carry them off one by one and Hens will Quack loud..

Like humans some mature early and some mature late, my first year at ducklings they matured early (4/5 weeks) and my second year they matured late (8/9 weeks)

Hmmm?..Get voice but not mature until a year..At 4 months they get a juvenile molt and develop a Drake curl and can begin to breed but not always fertile..

Mallards take a year to mature, I’ve had a 5 month old drake mount some of my older ducks before...

It was a Rouen drake btw
